The Board of Selectmen is a five-member Board duly elected by the citizens of Rockport to serve for three-year terms that are staggered among the members. The duty of the Board of Selectmen includes setting policy, overseeing budgets, approving the Warrant for Town Meeting and making executive decisions that pertain to the Town. The Board meets every other Tuesday night at legally posted public meetings, which are generally held in Conference Room A at Town Hall and televised on Cable Television (Channel 12) the Monday following the Tuesday night Meeting.
